Project
Canada Geese
Dogs
Herding, Coaxing, Relocating.
Use of herding dogs to herd invasive geese populations from unwanted areas has been successful all around the world. By using humane means of deterrence we can coax the residential geese populations into moving to other areas of BC, preferably areas where they can’t damage the local eco systems in the same way they’re damaging False Creek.

Next Steps
Funding & Approval.
To proceed with this project we’re in need of funding. The funding will go toward paying for the training of the dogs volunteering, and to compensate dog owners participating in the effort.
We also need approval from the local government and are thus looking to get in touch with the right people to expedite this project. Know the right person? Scroll down and get in touch!
